This new feature of Auto Build Assemblies allows you to easily update the Cost Block for all items in your QuickBooks company file based on criteria such as the Average Cost, the Total Bill of Materials Cost, or any number or formula you specifically enter into an Excel spreadsheet. You can then update your Sales Price for any or all of those items based on a percent markup of your updated Cost Block, your current Sales Price, or any number or formula you specifically enter into the same Excel spreadsheet. These updates will take place before any builds are issued. This feature can be used independently of the Auto Build feature and therefore can be used with the Pro version of QuickBooks. This feature is particularly useful in keeping the cost and price of your assemblies up to date as the costs of your bill of material components change.
